Clarke Whitney, CPA
Managing Partner

Clarke Whitney is a Certified Public Accountant and has been providing accounting services in the Kitsap area for over forty years.

He graduated with an A.A. Degree from Olympic College in 1971 and graduated from the University of Puget Sound in 1973 with a B.A. Degree in Business with an emphasis in accounting. He has experience in the completion of attest, tax, and consulting services in various industries including, but not limited to construction and development, healthcare, hospitality, education, entertainment, community organizations, and government.

Always active in his community, Clarke has been the President and Treasurer of the Bremerton Chamber of Commerce, board member of the United Way of Kitsap County and East Bremerton Rotary Club.

Casey Winters
Audit Manager

Casey Winters is an experienced accountant that has over ten years of experience in providing attest, tax, and consulting services to clients in various industries including but not limited to healthcare, hospitality, education, entertainment, community organizations, telecommunications, and government. He graduated from Washington State University with a B.A Degree in business administration with an emphasis in accounting and international business.

Casey is also active in his community acting as a youth leader for a young men's program and is currently board member and Treasurer of Tracyton Soccer Club. Casey is also a current member of the Washington State CPA’s.

Merit Anderson
Senior Accountant/Poulsbo Manager

Merit Anderson is a graduate of Chimacum High School (1994) and the University of Washington (1999). She has worked in accounting since 1995 and joined the firm’s Poulsbo office in 2000. Merit obtained her IRS Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) in 2010 and began participating in the Annual Filing Season Program (AFSP) in 2015. In 2012, Merit became a member of the National Association of Tax Professionals. Her specialties include payroll, accounting, and tax returns for individuals and small business.

Merit has loved numbers since about age 10 and often jokes it is in her blood as her career follows in the footsteps of multiple family members. Her volunteer work includes the Miss Poulsbo Miss Kitsap Miss Silverdale Scholarship Organization pageant since 2001 and AVEDA’s Earth Month campaign since 2007. Away from work, Merit loves trivia, travel, and live music with friends and family. She resides in Poulsbo with her husband and cats.

Lori Kenney
Staff Accountant

Lori Kenney is a bookkeeper with over 25 years of experience in the accounting field. Knowledgeable in balancing and maintaining accurate records, paying vendor invoices, tracking bank account balances, coordinating bank deposits and preparing quarterly and monthly tax returns along with payroll, operating, and business taxes. She lives with her family in East Bremerton and enjoys reading, crocheting, and cheering for the Seattle Seahawks and UW Huskies football teams.

Sandra Rice
Senior Accountant

Sandra Rice is a senior accountant with over 20 years of experience in the accounting field. Knowledgeable in bookkeeping, tax preparation, and audit services, Sandra has increased her interest in the ever-changing field of accounting. She has begun her Master of Science in Accounting in April of 2022 as a means to qualify to sit for the CPA exam.

Away from the office and school, Sandra enjoys spending time at her home in Olalla with her husband Derek, her mother Betty, and her two dogs, Miami and Basmati.

Charles Spencer, CPA
Senior Accountant

Charles Spencer is a Certified Public Accountant with experience in tax preparation, attest services, and bookkeeping. Originally from North Carolina, Charles graduated with a B.A. in business administration with a focus on accounting from Campbell University in 2020 before he moved to Bremerton and joined the firm the same year. Charles is currently working towards his masters of science in accounting.

Away from the office, Charles is a avid player of ultimate frisbee, and is involved with multiple groups throughout Kitsap and Pierce counties. He also enjoys cooking, reading, skiing, and spending time with friends.

Fuad Hinnawi
Senior Accountant

Fuad Hinnawi joined our team as a Senior Accountant in 2022 with four years of experience in individual and business taxes. Fuad is a CPA candidate, and graduated with a bachelor's in business administration with an emphasis in finance from San Diego state university in 2019. He is bilingual and reads and writes Arabic fluently. Fuad has experience in property management, project management, condominiums, HOA's, and budgeting. Fuad has a history of leadership, managing over 400 properties while working closely with various Boards Of Directors.

Laura Nesby
Administrative Assistant, Poulsbo

Laura Nesby has lived in Poulsbo, Washington for the last 20 years with her husband, John and teenage son, Oen. She owned and managed 3 restaurants during that time period but "retired" from the restaurant industry in mid 2023. She is enjoying working as an Administrative Assistant at the Poulsbo office. She is a huge animal lover and has 2 miniature Australian Shepherds that bring love and joy to her life daily!
